Hedoné – The Beauty of the Myths of Villa di Maser

A series of workshops exploring the treasures of beauty at Villa di Maser, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, through the lens of Myth and Philosophy from classical civilization.

In each of the six rooms frescoed by Paolo Veronese, the allegories and iconography of the decorations will be explored through corresponding myths and symbols of the classical world, with the insight and voice of the Ancient Greeks.

The project Greci Itineranti. Ancient Greek for those who (still) don’t know it, created by Davide Melchiori, promotes awareness of the languages and cultures of the ancient Western and Mediterranean worlds. It is aimed at culturally curious individuals, even those without prior knowledge, using a welcoming and collaborative outreach format, based on original methods and style.
