Judas tree

The Judas Tree is a small ornamental tree that reaches about 10 meters in height, known for its heart-shaped pink-purple flowers that bloom directly on the branches and trunk, creating a spectacular effect in spring. Native to the eastern Mediterranean, its name is linked to the legend that Judas Iscariot hanged himself from one of these trees.
